It is a self portrait silkscreen print titled as ‘Jhumka’ (Earring). My hometown is in Bareilly (UP, India) is famous for jhumka, kajal, surma and is called as nath nagri because of seven Shiva (God) temples. I wanted to link my artwork with the city I am belonging to, so I have printed my portrait with one earring on my earlobe and another one is used as a background so that I could emphasize on that.

Silkscreen printing is a very good technique as it creates variety of tones and shades of color but my personal favourite is woodcut, I loved this technique the most. Though spooning is bit tough but still the outcome is awesome.
